2. 2-hour guided tour 

"All about Kabuki tour" is conducted in Ginza, Chuo-city Tokyo. Ginza is the most famous upmarket shopping and entertainment district in Tokyo, featuring numerous department stores, boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, and cafes. You can enjoy strolling on the main street every weekend since pedestrian paradise will be held.

The Kabukiza theater is located in the center of Ginza. It was rebuilt in 2013 designed by famous architect Kengo Kuma.

Kabuki, Noh and Bunraku are the first traditional Japanese stage art registered as UNESCO World Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2008. 
There is a Noh theater close to the Kabukiza theatre in Ginza. 




We meet in front of the Kabukiza theater at 10 am.
1) Check your body temperature and disinfect your hands with an alcohol spray.
* Please wear a facial mask. You cannot enter the Kabuki facility without it.

2) We will move to the underground Kobikicho Square and explain the tour course, the story of the performance, and some important points of watching Kabuki.
3) Guide to Kobimachi Square
4) Distribute tickets to each participant at the entrance
5) Kabuki Dance at 11:00 am-11:45 am
6) Kabukiza garally tour 12:00 noon - 1:00 pm 

The tour ends at 1 p.m.

  • It is about Sanja Festival in Asakusa - easy to understand with the play being centered around dancing.

  • Each of the two actors quickly changes costumes to play four different roles



December 25th (Fri.): Christmas Dinner in Ginza

① 3 PM:  Check in the Hotel Monterey Ginza

② 5:30 PM– 7:30 PM:  Christmas Dinner at French restaurant ‘Escale’


December 26th (Sat.) : Tour in Ginza

① 10 AM: Meet at the hotel lobby  *STP guide will pick you up

② 11  AM – 11:45 AM:  Kabuki Dance watching  

③ 12 Noon – 2 PM: Lunch at Jugetsudo — stroll on roof top garden of Kabukiza — Kabuki gallery

④ 2 PM – 4 PM:  Ginza tour from Kabukiza theater to Tokyo Station (The tour ends)


December 27th (Sun.) : Tour in Asakusa

① 10 AM: Meet at the hotel lobby after checkout *STP guide will pick you up 

② 10 AM - 11:30 AM: Go to Asakusa by a Sumida River water bus from Hamarikyu garden

③ 11:30 AM – 3 PM:  Lunch and Guided tour in Asakusa

④ 4 PM: arrive at ‘Hotel Monterey Ginza to pick up your luggage.’ (The tour ends).

Please be aware that this tour is not part of the ‘Go-to-travel’ campaign;

The government has suspended the campaign because of COVID-19.

Our small group private tour is avoiding ‘3-Cs’ with counter-measures against COVID-19
